God dammit! My freaking internet access has been cut down to pretty much once a week now. I'm really sorry about all of this guys. I'm going to try and get a post up in the next day or two. If I could get a new computer, we wouldn't be having any of these problems, but I don't really see myself being able to get one any time in the near future. Man, I just can't catch a damn break. Again, I'm really sorry for letting you guys down.

It's understandable Shadow,
One question if I may? You mentioned using your wife's comp to sign on here long enough to drop us a quick line in this forum. Am I missing something as to why you couldn't just use her comp for 45-60 mins to write a post?

Not trying to be pushy, just something I've been curious about. I know how frustrating it is to get trapped without computer & internet access for the two weeks I was without when my computer before last died. Hope things turn around for you soon man.

Even if they don't me and Jessie have gotten the hang of keeping the story afloat on our own. It's not nearly as much fun as when you and Ronin were regularly partnering with us on MZ, but I think we've done ok and remained true to the preestablished natures of the characters, especially those not belonging to us we're writing for temporarily.

That's a fair question wyld. The general answer is that my wife doesn't like her computer being used a lot, unless for specific things. Since my computer died and she lost her job too, she's gotten a bit paranoid with computer usage. (She's somehow gotten the idea that posting here helped contribute to my computer dying and won't budge on the idea). And I don't really blame her. If this computer goes kaput right now, we'd be fucked as it would leave us with no means of searching for employment, applying for jobs, and paying certain bills. Considering how much we're relying on this one comp, she's been very generous.

Plus, there's also various daily activities that I'm having to tend to, added to quite a lot of shows that we've agreed would be watched together without any distractions. And for some unexplained reason, our internet will randomly crap out for periods of time, sometimes lasting a day or two. When we do have working internet, she spends quite a bit of time on it looking for work and taking care of other matters. All this combined leaves me with a very limited window of internet time, and it has to be spent doing practical things like finding employment.

My biggest problem lately hasn't been lacking the ability to write per say, I have an old desktop for that. I just haven't had the ability to get online and catch up with what was going on.

I hope this doesn't come off as me sounding a bit like an asshole. I've just been dealt a lot of bad hands in life recently. I'm going to keep trying to do what I can until I can get myself a new comp eventually.

Good post shadow, but one thing, there isn't supposed to be -anything- alive on this world. no life, even the plants are dying. Not even bugs. the whole planet is dead/dying and what plant life is still around is withering, the whole thing is tainted to the core.

I understand that completely, but it ties in to an idea that I came up with that will play out significantly later on. Let's just say that the dog didn't survive all that time on its own accord, and I'll leave it at that. Not trying to mess up what was done with the world or anything, just adding in a new twist that I feel remains true to the spirit of the completely dead world, and the one the group is about to go to.

I don't have a problem with you adding your own twist. Was more concerned about continuity. Feral had already searched for life with his hightened senses and didn't find any. But I suppose if the dog is that far gone then it stands to reason that maybe it had been mostly undetectable cause it was laying there ready to die and only when it sensed life did it make any attempt to even move. I'll post soon.

Am I the only one that still intends to continue?

No, I'm still here. Like I said earlier, I just don't have as many opportunities to post as I used to. But I'll keep doing my best to stay with the plotline.

just a few little things, in my post they were still inside the store, lupus never got as far as picking the corpse up, sorry if I was a bit vague.

Ok, I got the next post up, and I fixed up the problems with the older one. Sorry about that Wolf.

Another thing too. Not trying to imply that Rain was acting like a bitch to Lupus, it's just how Eric saw it. Hence why he's confronting her about it.
