Etherius may have appeared feeble and sickly, but the glint in her eyes as she began to ready her own attack made it clear that this sickly dragon still had plenty of fight in her. her mouth was agape as a swirly green mist condensed into a smokey green sphere, her gaze flicking toward the young Zonyte high above, it was going to be important to get the timing of the attack right. Her target was the face of the tainted beast. Ron withdrew his hand from the green dragon's flank. he could feel something big was about to happen and glanced at the others "I could be wrong, but I think we all may want to lay on the ground and cover our heads..."
Josh glanced over at the older man then at the huge green wing that was covering them. It stood to reason that if they could sense things through their dragon this older American would probably have the strongest link considering his dragon was close enough to touch. The dark haired man said nothing but laid down on the muddy ground and laced his hands over his head. There was no sense in not being cautious in this situation. If something was going to happen then he would much rather be prepared. Even Josh himself could feel what was like a tightening in his chest. It wasn't anxiety exactly. It was like he was feeling the bronze dragon's readiness to attack.
High above Koranth was preparing to launch his attack at the monster. Part of him found it distasteful that it should take nine dragons to take down an infected beast. But his other side was lad these measures were being taken. It was better to overkill something then to not do enough, and ultimately fail. Failure was NOT an option. The muscular bronze dragon was prepared to make his attack, he could sense that the others were nearly ready as well, especially the youngest of the group.
Zonyte's entire form was alive with cascading electrical current that made him look more like a tesla coil then a dragon. He was angry and excited all at the same time. How dare these monsters encroach on HIS lands. He would make it pay. The electric charge he was preparing to attack with started to fluctuate between positive and negative charge. He didn't want this hydra thing to get a lucky break. It would be destroyed no matter what. The youngest dragon's enthusiasm seemed to rub off on his counterpart as well.
Xaque was fidgeting more then usual. He only partially noticed the dark-haired irishman lay down on the ground, as well as the big ol texan. He wanted to SEE what was going on. He felt cooped up being unable to see what was going on. He wanted to do something, even though there was nothing that he could do. He had a feeling something was about to happen that would put hollywood to shame.
Coronus was ready, his intense gaze shifting from one comrad to another, waiting for each of them to read a state of readiness to make their attack. Not only that but he also took a moment to focus on the young girl he was linked to, trying to send her a sense of confidence. She wasn't exactly leader material yet, but that would have to change, she would need to learn to exude confidence like a true leader and that would start by her feeling confident in her partner. There was a fire in her, but it needed to be fanned and fed till it went from a spark to a roaring inferno.
Rommie knelt down close to Etherius's hind foot and covered her head like some of the others were doing. There was no way nine huge dragons could lose a fight against one monster...right?

Re: Drakonian Wraiths
Bastila let the moisture in the air, even if it was slight, coil around her as particles of water molecules began to form further into her jaws, little jet streams spraying a bit outwards as all the water that could contain glowed deep within her throat, signalling that she was ready.
The leader of the group surveyed everyone once more again, Haikoth's beams of holy light curling within his own jaws, his wings flowing brightly amplifying the power so much that another set of energy balls were forming within his clawed hands. Phleiysha herself was glimmering with quick streaks of bright purple and fuschia, the psychic emanations coming to full circle.
Sylvraine from a more higher vantage point was beating his wings harshly, a whirlwind of some contained air blast curling in on itself in front of him, as if some form of mini tornado. All of their eyes were glowing respectively, the aura of their powers crashing in on itself that it wouldn't be able to hold in for much longer.
"NOW!" Coronus boomed and Zonyte let loose first, the powerful electrical charge snapping down towards the tainted hydra, who opened its central jaws wide to take in the blast, absorbing the youngest dragon's power swiftly.
But soon it was not only absorbing that, as all seven other dragons within the vicinity of the beast let out their own respective elemental power, forcing it into the throat of the beast as the other two heads needed to take in the extra power.
It seemed quite obvious it was becoming a bit too much for the creature, as part of its form would glow bright red, flames spouting out fom underneath its scales till a sheen of ice would cover it after, and then replaced by some form of creeping vegetation to another one of the elements, continuing in full circle. But still it didn't seem enough...
"How the fucking hell is that thing still holding on?!" Jenna demanded, having chosen to remain watching by Xaque's side.
"Maybe its not enough?" Billy suggested from where he was crouched, peering best he could from underneath the dragon's wing. Moraith let out a slight chuckle and casually gives Asha a sideglance, giving her a small smile.
"Sometimes even they forget of one thing..."
Before the old man could continue further, a roaring sound passed swiftly overhead and Asha could catch a glimpse of something large and black before it connected with the hydra's mouths... and whatever it was, that reaction along was enough to send the beast into a form of super mini nova, the combined powers folding in on itself as the beast let out a roar of pain, the metal tendrils shooting off of it before it self destructed in a blast of bright, yellow and silver light, sparks of energy shooting upwards into the sky. The group wasn't even splashed with specks of the monster's blood... nothing at all remained.
"May you rest in peace" Moraith said softly, bowing his head respectively. High above them Coronus whirled around in the air and snarled ferociously at where the mysterious black blast had come from, being Darcia.
"Took you long enough suketh! If you keep on lagging behind then this mission will end in failure! Do you understand?!"
The dark dragon merely looking at the commander, his red eyes glowing eerily before he inclines his head.
"Perfectly".
"I hope so... for if not then you will know your place again" was he growl. Murmurs of agreement came from the other dragons as Moraith shook his head.
"We should move along sires, before any more poor infected creatures lock in our location".

The damned grow weary of this song and dance...
